Platon Chirnoagă

Platon Chirnoaga (1894 - 1974) was a Romanian Brigadier-General during World War II. In 1941, he was Chief Operation 3rd Army and then Vice Chief of Staff 3rd Army. He became Commanding Officer 7th Artillery Regiment and subsequently Vice Chief of Staff 3rd Army in 192. In 1944, he was Commanding Officer 4th Artillery Brigade, General Officer Commanding 4th Division, and finally a German prisoner. In 1945, Chirnoaga was Minister of Defence Government while in exile in Germany. From 1945 to 1946, he was a prisoner of war. 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Generals from Romania )
